Caeleb Layton goes down as one of the most menacing Defensive Lineman in school history. A 4 year starter and All State Selection, Caeleb made an impact early on in his Buckeye Career.

Caeleb Layton's name is now etched in Buckeye History as he becomes our All Time Leader in Sacks, both in a season and in a career. Caeleb can be found in our record book as having;

31 Career Sacks - Most in a Career

19 Sacks in a Season - Most in a Season

T-3rd Most Sacks in a game - Twice vs. Wellston and Athens (2025)

T-3rd Most Fumbles Recovered in a season - 4 (2025)

T-3rd Most Forced Fumbles in a career - 6 Forced Fumbles

T-4th Most Fumble Recoveries in a career - 5

4th Most Total Tackles in a career - 400 Tackles

6th Most Solo Tackles in a career - 120 Solo Tackles

T-7th Most Solo Tackles in a game - 8 vs. Logan (2024)

T-9th Most Solo Tackles in a season - 57 (2025)

Not to mention he's got one rushing TD, and Fumble Recovery for a TD in the SAME GAME.

Unfortunately we will not be setting up tonight. It’s supposed to rain and rain and baked items don’t go well together.

Love Bites is proudly sponsoring N-Y Senior Caeleb “Smiles” Layton on his quest to Texas. Caeleb will be participating in the Blue-Grey All American Bowl in Dallas, January 4.

How are we sponsoring him:
1. During the POTH and all 5 home football games you can purchase “Smiles” Love Boat for $5 each. 100% will go directly to Caeleb.

2. We will have a donation box at the POTH. You can drop change, cash, etc. It will go directly to Caeleb.

3. For all of you Buckeye Football Fans!!! We will give Caeleb $25 for every sack he gets during the Varsity football games! Help us keep track & cheer him and the Nelsonville York football team this season!!!!
