A little late on this, but had to do a 2025 recap for the farm 🥰

This year was full of small moments that mattered — planning for our future, raising our own food, and learning to slow down and enjoy the process. Farming has a way of reminding you what’s important.

We’re building something intentional here, and we’re excited to share more farm-fresh food, behind-the-scenes moments, and simple living in the year ahead. Thanks for being part of the journey. 🤍

Baby Tunie to Sow Tunie - She was our first pig of this herd, given to us randomly by a FB friend. She’s been a sweet girl and we’ve enjoyed raising her. She may be our only unregistered pig but she is a great Mom to everyone’s babies. We love her, even if she is a little on the ugly side. 🤭🐷😂

Last night, the sky over Southwest Missouri came alive — painted in shades of pink and violet that seemed almost unreal. What looked like a dream was actually a rare gift from the sun.

A severe solar storm, classified as a G4 geomagnetic storm, sent waves of energy racing toward Earth. Multiple coronal mass ejections (CMEs) collided with our planet’s magnetic field, releasing charged particles that lit up the sky in a display usually reserved for the far north.

For just a moment, the barn below glowed as if lit from within — bathed in the soft light of a pink horizon before the stars took their turn, sparkling like scattered diamonds across the night.

A reminder that even in the most ordinary places, extraordinary things can happen when the universe decides to paint. 🌌
