Sogn and Morcella were part of our big night out at Travail! The Forager Dinner was stunning and absolutely delicious!

Sogn was featured in the cheese course with lavash, jalapeño honey, pear butter, mushroom chutney & candied walnuts.

Morcella was central in a wild rice risotto with fiddlehead ferns and broccolini.

Well done Travail crew! Beautiful work!

Hidden Falls in a gentle mood. This little waterfall in the Big Woods State Park across from the farm is the inspiration for our farmstead bloomy rind sheep milk Hidden Falls.

Hidden Falls the cheese brings to mind the mineral water spray, blanket of spring ephemerals, and lingering woodsy aroma of last fall's leaves.

Looking for local foods fans to staff our booth at Apple Valley Farmer's Market Saturdays and substitute staffers to fill in on Saturdays at Mill City Farmers Market, Apple Valley Farmers Market and Saturdays/Sundays at St Paul Farmers Market.

Apple Valley Farmers Market staffer loads van and transports goods from Nerstrand farm to Apple Valley. Mill City Farmers Market staffer meets at Mill City to unload & set up.
