Last Thursday we hosted our first dinner . A French-ish roast chicken dinner for two. We had so much fun we are doing it again this Thursday, June 4 at 6:30pm. Tickets are extremely limited and sure to go quick. (Link in bio.) Thank you to everyone who attended and helped our first event sell out.
We borrowed a lot of ideas and direction from the French for the dinner but mostly the French spirit around food and eating; the best local products thoughtfully raised, carefully curated, respectfully and simply cooked. Paired with handpicked wines from and served from our family to you. Meant to be enjoyed at a slow pace with someone you care for over good conversation.
In the French spirit of “terroir” our dinner is exclusively grown and made in Wisconsin.
-Creamy, funky, washed rind Bloom cheese from Willow Creek Cheese in Berlin, WI
-“The French Would Be Proud Baguettes” from down the road
-homemade black currant preserves from
-Amazing veg and salad greens from the good folks
-Pasture raised chicken from Wautoma Family of Farms
-Strawberries grown by the Bontragers of Kingston
Our intent was to offer to our community the kind of food our family likes to raise and to eat. To offer the type of experience we like to have. Our intent was to offer a place for our community to create community and to nourish ourselves and each other.
We can’t wait to do it again.
Hope to see you Thursday.
Au revoir!
