Founded in 1980 in a small garage on the outskirts of town, in 1982 the Winery moved to its present location, the historic Miners Foundry Garage, on Spring Street in downtown Nevada City. The Winery is located less than two blocks from where the original Nevada City Winery stood over a century ago. In 1880 there were over 300 acres of grapes in Nevada County. Today the wine industry is flourishing

in the county. We are proud of our role in revitalizing the wine industry in Nevada County. Our production is done at the winery on Spring Street. We don't have vineyards of our own, but that gives our winemaker the ability to pull from various vineyards and the opportunity to create wines from the best varietals. Production is downstairs and the Tasting Room is upstairs.

Local singer-songwriter, Kyle Green, performs guitar and vocals, focusing on nostalgic Americana and classic songs from the 70s and every decade following. He sings with warmth and heart and tries to honor the original artist. You’ll find yourself singing along to James Taylor, Glen Campbell, John Denver, and dozens of artists who followed through the years.
