This is an old video but a perfect example of how gentle the bees can be in the spring. It’s almost that time of year again when when swarming happens. The bee club will go over swarms (why, when, how to catch them) and the swarm app.

How blessed we are to be able to do this craft in such an amazing landscape.
I do not harvest royal jelly, but was presented an opportunity when this hive raised emergency cells (they must have just lost thier queen) and I have a queen from another hive that I will combine with this one.

Was a great night at the Nevada county fair. It was so amazing to see all the people interested in honey and honey bees! Loved seeing the little kids at the beekeepers association booth ready to spot the queen ♥️ 🐝
