Markets very rarely go as planned.
You can drive two hours in one direction just to realize you forgot something—something you definitely can’t grab at just any store. You plan, you prep, you check your list over and over… and even then, there’s still no guarantee of smooth sailing.
Yesterday started at 4am—loading, prepping, double-checking, with excitement building by the minute. But excitement can be hard to hold onto when things go sideways. While unloading, two gallons of espresso concentrate slid out of the car and crashed onto the ground. Just like that.
And yet… the blessings came faster. And they were bigger.
Market staff jumped in to help clean up the glass and the mess. Vendor friends stopped by and lent a hand without hesitation. And somehow, instead of the day unraveling, the excitement kept growing.
We sold 70 cold brew lattes.
Seventy! 🥳🥹
This is something new we’ve been working on adding to our booth this year, and yesterday made one thing very clear—it’s something special. Despite the chaos, despite the unexpected, yesterday’s market felt like a win in every way.
To everyone who stopped to help, who came by to say hello, who supported us even in the middle of the mess—thank you. Truly.
You’re the reason we make syrups.
You’re the reason we serve coffee.
You’re the reason we love doing what we do. 🫶
