Lazy T Farm

Lazy T Farm is a family owned and operated business. It was founded in March 2015 by John and Amber Talbert. We primarily sell products from the beehive, but also have other agricultural activities, to include raising chickens, turkeys, goats, cows, ducks, and donkeys. John and Amber have been married for over 25 years and have 4 children: Justin, Brennan, Seth and Sarah. The name “Lazy T” comes from the name of his grandfather’s farm in Mississippi in remembrance of his grandparents. They are also involved in their local church, Millwood Church in Royse City.

John (Skip) Talbert is the Owner/Marketing Manager for Lazy T Farm. He is retired from the US Army after 26 years and also the Operations Manager for his father’s company, Sabine Creek Honey Farm. John obtained his Associates in Business Administration and Bachelors in Business Administration from Northwestern State University in Louisiana. He manages the beekeeping operation on Lazy T Farm.

Amber Talbert is the Co-Owner of Lazy T Farm. She is also a retired spouse of the US Army after 22 years of service along side John. Amber has worked in many applications from Mother, Volunteer, Daycare Worker, Victim’s Advocate, Substitute Teacher, and Cook. She is the main caretaker of the animals for Lazy T Farm and produces the products from the beehive, Lazy T Lips lip balm.

Chelsea Talbert is the daughter-in-law of John and Amber. She is married to Justin and has a daughter, Kimmie. Chelsea is a certified Cosmetologist in Texas/Louisiana and has completed Pharmacy Technician school. She helps Amber manage the animals at Lazy T Farm and produces the natural scent bars, Lazy T Scents.
