THANK YOU to our volunteers!! 💚🙌

Last week, we wrapped up our open volunteer opportunities for the 2026 season. Thanks to our strong community of volunteers, we were able to grow, harvest, and distribute over 38,000 pounds of fresh produce to our 10 pantry partners, surpassing our donations from last year. And, we still plan to keep growing throughout the fall and winter -- so these numbers aren't final yet!

We seriously couldn't do this work without your hard work and dedication. We are grateful to have so many wonderful volunteers who want to Fight Hunger and Grow Community with us 🥰

Sending a big thank you to everyone who participated in our Hunger Action Month campaign or joined our community events! 🍽️🧡 It was so inspiring to see everyone come together in new ways to collectively take action to fight hunger.

It was a perfect fall day for our grow site tour, filled with sunshine, a cool breeze, and lots of conversation surrounding food access and our mission of Fighting Hunger and Growing Community ☀️🍁

The Big Table discussion surrounding healthy food access in Central Ohio was another amazing opportunity to talk about solutions to hunger with our fellow community members 🤝

As of today, we are just over 65% of the way to our goal of raising $7,500. Our menu options, ranging from $5 to $500, translate to real produce that The Garden for All grows and distributes to food pantries throughout Central Ohio. Your donation helps us feed our neighbors who are facing food insecurity.

Happy Hunger Action Day! 🍽🧡

Today, we’re asking you to choose the meal that sounds good to you, and then share it with someone else.

Our digital menu features dishes inspired by the produce we grow in our Garden for distribution to food pantries throughout Central Ohio. Your “order” helps us grow the ingredients that make these meals possible for our neighbors experiencing food insecurity.

When budgets are limited, it in turn limits food options and access, making it even harder for individuals with health conditions to find and afford foods that support health management. When people can't access foods that support their health, then health conditions can worsen.

Research from the Ohio Association of Foodbanks this year highlights that 39% of households receiving food assistance said it helped them eat healthier foods, and about 18% also mentioned that the food they receive helps them manage their health conditions. This further demonstrates how food can be medicine.

Exciting news -- this week at The Garden for All, we officially surpassed our 2025 produce donations! 🤗🎉

Last year, we distributed over 36,000 pounds of produce total to our 10 food pantry partners throughout Franklin and Licking counties. This week marks over 37,000 pounds of fresh, organic produce that we've harvested and sent to our neighbors in 2026.

And the year isn't over yet! We couldn't have accomplished this without the support of our community -- thank you from the bottom of our hearts 💚 Happy Hunger Action Month!
