One step closer.

The gate is officially coming down, which means we’re making way for one of the biggest milestones yet… asphalt is next.

It’s incredible to watch this space transform from an empty lot into the future home of TruckYard. Every week brings something new, and this one feels especially exciting.

A few updates for everyone who’s been following along:

🚚 Food Truck Owners: If you’ve reached out about becoming a vendor, thank you! Applications will be heading your way soon as we begin building our opening roster. If you have not popped up in NA before and need details on Health Department we can provide you with all of those details. Once our scheduling platform is live, we’ll send out the booking link so you can reserve your dates.

🍻 Employment: If you’ve sent us your résumé, we’ve got it! As soon as our General Manager is onboard, we’ll begin reaching out to schedule interviews and start building an incredible team.

Projects like this don’t happen overnight. They come together one step, one milestone, and one truckload at a time. Watching it all take shape has been pretty special, and we can’t wait to welcome you through that gate very soon.

Something big is coming to Downtown New Albany — and we're ready to talk about it.

Truckyard is opening September 2026 at 219 E. Main Street, and it's unlike anything Southern Indiana has seen before.

We're building Southern Indiana's first curated outdoor food truck and hospitality venue — a fully realized gathering space featuring a rooftop bar with panoramic views of downtown New Albany, 4–5 rotating food truck concepts, a full-service bar with cocktail service, outdoor viewing, string lights, murals by local artist Carrie Johns, and a dramatic street-facing entry that'll stop you in your tracks.

The vision is simple: families spending the afternoon, friends staying into the evening, and great food and drinks at the center of all of it. Truckyard is designed to be a destination — for New Albany residents, for Louisville visitors crossing the bridge, and for anyone who believes this city is just getting started.

We're now recruiting our founding food truck vendor lineup. This is a curated opportunity — not an open lot. If you operate a food truck with strong branding, a quality menu, and the ability to show up consistently, we want to hear from you. Flexible weekly booking, utilities included, active marketing support, and a built-in destination audience.

We're also hiring. Bartenders, cocktail servers, bar leadership, and a General Manager. If you want to be part of something being built from the ground up — this is it.
