Unfortunately Starry lost her two foster babies. Sometimes fostering works and sometimes it doesn't. Bubbles was bred again to Ford so hopefully we will have a successful litter in a month 🐇

Looks like a few more ladies figured out how to get under the fence. The boys are beside themselves 😂

So far Starry is doing a great job with her two babies and her two foster babies 🐇

We have affectionately started calling this little one, Twitch. Normally we don't give rabbits a name until after their first couple of shows or they go into our breeding program, neither of which this one will do, but we made an exception this time.

One of Yeti's favorite treats is a deer leg, we made sure to save him a few from processing last night. He is one happy guy this morning 😁

Deer are cut and in the freezer! It was a ton of work but we are so glad it is done. Luckily we have some awesome family that helped us make short work of the processing. Now to just make jerky and grind burger.

Bubbles and Starry both gave birth today. Bubbles, the havana, was an overachiever as a first time mama and had 8 kits. Unfortunately, when we found her today, they were all cold. We put them in the incubator and we found that 2 were still alive. We tried giving them back to her this evening and she promptly tried stomping on them. We always give them a second chance to be moms so in a few days we will breed her again and see how she does. Starry, the silver fox, had a litter of 2 and both were squirmy and looked healthy. We have given her Bubbles 2 kits as foster babies and we will hopefully still have 4 alive babies in the morning.
