Peters Pecan Cracking

We will be opening on Monday, November 2, 2026 at 9 AM for your pecan cracking enjoyment. We are keeping the same prices as last year. They are 50¢ a pound to crack and 75¢ to crack and shell. Last season, we had an increase of people bringing in dirty or muddy pecans. This year, we will charge an additional 25¢ a pound to wash your dirty pecans.
We will be taking reservations again this year for our customers that live more than 40 miles from our location. However, we won't be taking reservations the first week we are open.
We are looking for to seeing everyone again this season and hope your pecan crop is plentiful.

We are set to conclude our seasonal operations on Thursday, March 26. The last day for pecan submissions will be Wednesday, March 25.

Just a reminder that we are only going to be open Tuesday through Thursday our regular hours for the rest of the season.

Effective February 23, our office hours will change to three days a week. We will be open Tuesday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Our services remain available to long-distance customers by appointment, and the drop-off bin is accessible around the clock.

Our office will be closed from February 2nd to February 6th for scheduled maintenance and repairs. We will resume normal operations on February 9th, with our standard hours of 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. In the meantime, you may utilize our convenient pecan drop-off bin located on the northwest side of the building. Sorry for any inconvenience this might cause.
