My FAVORITE moments are spent with these kiddos π

When the todo list seems big, the "should do list" piles up, laundry needs to be switched, and the rest needs to be folded, I still have more work to do (even several hrs in) and the dishes are still next to the sink I have 2 options... 1) be overwhelm and feel sorry for myself with the lists left OR 2) shift the energy and the mindset and EMBRASCE each moment! Surrendering to how I *want* to feel!
Optipn 2 always... and I mean ALWAYS plays out with a much better outcome!
And im not saying put off the lists... but I am saying it is a must to start by giving your body the grace and love it needs!
We choose dancing time... it was my toddlers request! I could have said "nope, im busy" or "maybe later" (and dont get me wrong, I have the time and place for those)...but in this instance I thought... you know, your right! 2 minutes to support my whole entire nervous system and mood... to in turn support my entire day and productivity... YES PLEASE!
SO WE DANCED... and giggled!! And that 2 minute break was worth every second...
My son is happy and excited to go play independently with some trucks, I am feeling so motivated and ready to continue work, and I am happy and excited to conquer each moment!
Pushing through the "tough" oe "busy" moments downstairs does not need go be the only option!

And one last key note... be nice to yourself!! as you can tell, it doesn't need to be pretty, perfect, or structured... they won't judge you for playing with them.. so why should we judge ourself for taking care of us so we can serve them?!
