A comment we hear very often is, "I love the art!"

It always makes me proud to tell people that the art they love was hand painted in house. One of the worker-owners behind those labels is none other than Wesli Confer.

On Friday, June 19, Wesli is hosting our Paint & Sip out on the property, 5 to 8 in the evening. The person whose work you already know, guiding you through your own. Tickets are $25 and include a glass of cider.

The May 30th willow basket weaving workshop is official sold out! The response has been remarkable. Thank you to everyone who grabbed a spot.

Sandra Kehoe of , teaches weaving, and uses regenerative techniques to farm willow plants. We're honored to have her teaching the stake-and-strand technique here in our humble space. We'll share photos and a recap after the event.

More small, hands-on afternoons are on the way through the summer. Paint and Sip on June 19th, an The Berry Jam Festival on July 18th. Plenty of ways to spend an afternoon with us at the cidery.

Two weeks. That's about how long you get to enjoy the apple blossoms (if you are lucky). Then the petals fall and fruit set begins.

Every sip of cider you enjoy starts as one of these delicate flowers. A lot of these trees grew from dropped seeds, planted by the deer and cows as I lovingly like to say. Wild apples make wild cider. They bloom on their own schedules within a roughly two-week window in May, some a little early and some a little late.

By August, the fruits will be sizing up. By October, we'll be pressing. By next March, we'll be bottling. Today, they're still just a possibility.

And to be fair, these pictures are from January, we didn't get quite this much snow this morning 😉
