Earlier this spring, I put Iceland Poppies on my ādo not growā list for next season. The seeds are the size of dust specks, they have terrible germination rates, and then the ones that do germinate are hard to grow.
*But then* the few I did manage to grow started to bloomā¦ and they got me. Their delicate, crepe paper petals and that pale, peachy color are just too good to pass up. Thereās nothing quite like them!
Hopefully next year weāll just get better at growing them š

With the exception of a few hard-to-grow varieties, we start all our flowers from seeds, bulbs, or tubers. They really are locally grown from the very beginning!

With the frost last night, our 2022 season has come to an end. If you supported our small business in any way this year, we are so grateful for you! Every purchase, share, like, and word of mouth review has made all the difference for us.
Things may be a little quiet on here as we plan and prep for next season (and welcome baby #2 any day now!). Look for news early in 2023 about some big plans and changes coming to the farm. We canāt wait to grow and serve our community with gorgeous, locally-grown flowers.

We are absolutely overwhelmed with the reception we had last night at in Jacksonville. In spite of the rain there was such a good turnout that we SOLD OUT!! Huge thanks to everyone who helped organize that event. We canāt wait to be back next month.
Our online pre-orders for Motherās Day are now closed, but you can still come see us tomorrow at the in Farmersville. Weāll be there from 9AM-1PM with some market bunches and small mason jar arrangements.

- Saturday, May 7th at our farm (13610 Irish Rd New Berlin) from 4-6PM
Pre-orders for Jacksonville will close Wednesday (5/4) at noon. Preorders for both Saturday pickups will close Friday (5/6) at noon.
We hope to add a personal delivery option in the future as we continue to grow. For now, please send us a direct message if the above dates/times do not work for pickup and we will do our best to accommodate.
