Greetings HHBC friends and followers! Been a hot minute since we reached out last.

Nothing to report on the brewing front. Our two sour projects are still squirreled away in carboys waiting to be bottled; will likely pull a sample to ensure it's still good sour and hasn't turned.

We have moved our operation out to New Berlin as of the end of September 2021. Currently evaluating how to create new brews in this space as the set up our our new space appears it will not work with our current equipment. Would certainly be glad to have fellow brewers over to hash it out over a few beers.

We recently took a long weekend to Des Moines, IA and hit up a few breweries. If you're out that way, be sure to hit up 1717 Brewing Co. ; great guys there and delicious beers.

Good morning fans of HHBC! It's certainly been awhile and just wanted to say hello to everyone! Nothing really new to report here; our ongoing sour projects are still on going (probably should taste test again soon) and we're down to a couple random bottles of previous brews. We've been locked down pretty tight for the pandemic and are happy to report nobody here has come down with Covid-19.

We are looking into a new location for the brewery that will hopefully be happening in the next several months. Once we are moved we will reassess and figure out how we will operate moving forward. We will be back to making beer again, someday, just not sure what that will exactly look like at the moment.

Hope you all are doing as well as can be expected as the pandemic continues. Stay safe, make smart choices, follow the science and if you are eligible, get the vaccine.

Greeting HHBC fans! We hope you are all doing well during the current pandemic.

Brewmaster Tom stopped in at the brewery this morning to check on the ongoing sour projects; BBA Maibock & BBA Porter. Its been awhile since he checked in on them and wanted to make sure they were still progressing well and haven't become undrinkable.

Results were better than expected. Both are very drinkable and will be making their way to bottles sometime in 2020. The Maibock was the better of the two with a crisp taste and some nice sour cherry notes on the finish. The porter has some good porter character with some funk on the back end. These certainly won't appeal to everyone but sour fans should appreciate them.

HHBC has halted production during the pandemic and a return date is unknown at this point. When the sours are bottled we will post and would entertain curbside pickup for those interested. Stay safe everyone!

Willy's English Barleywine has been dropped off for judging. All that's left to do at this point is say our prayers and take our vitamins. Results should be in at the end of October.

Our friends over at Regal Beagle Brewing Company are also entering their barleywine and we wouldn't be surprised if it made some noise. Got to try it a couple weeks ago and it is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥!

We'll hopefully have good news for all our supporters. Cheers!

Greeting HHBC supporters. Never got around to brewing on 9/1. Think we're going to aim to brew once the weather makes it no longer fun to be outside. The goal will be to make a couple of long aging batches and a session batch that will be ready for spring; depending how cooperative the winter weather is, perhaps take a run at a Maibock.

We are going to step back into the competition game and enter out English style barleywine into the competition hosted by Delafield Brewhouse. It's been a pretty well received batch and hopefully we'll make a little noise. Judging is end of October and we'll post any good news we get.

Greetings HHBC supporters! We are pleased to announce the brewhouse has a brew day scheduled; we are intending to brew on 9/1/18! We are more than likely going to brew b2 of our American style barleywine. Looking back at our records from b1, this one took awhile to come together but it has been one of our better received beers.

Stay tuned for updates as this is tentative but we're hoping to make it happen. Cheers!
