Flash sale! $10 for 12lbs of seconds/canning tomatoes. This is a pretty equal mix of paste and medium tomatoes.

This would make a delicious batch of salsa this weekend. I just sorted them, nothing is overly ripe or leaking so you could get away with starting Friday!

Is this as awesome as it sounds? I am sure the guidelines will be strict but this is a really great way for small and large farms. Looking forward to the details rolling out!

Farm updates: I’m making my final list for paste tomatoes yall!

Who still is looking for some?

I plan to have some this weekend and prob wrapping up the following week!

The plants have all been tremendous producers this year, but as the cool evenings creep in, production slows down.

Bulk slicers are no longer available but we may have a flash sale if we have them at the end! So keep your eyes out if that’s the case.

We will still have smaller amounts of slicers and paste tomatoes available both direct and through Healthy Roots Local Market but quantities are definitely getting lighter.

With that said peppers are also wrapping up.

However, winter squash is available now, onions, melons, eggplant, okra, some summer squash are all still on the docket.

We will be harvesting potatoes and a few other fall crops as the weeks progress!

I don’t even have school age kids and you bet this sweet item came home with me after the girls took their photos! So cute! Got to love the good old bartering system with colleges 💞
