Hummingbird Cake, it’s a rich, moist Southern-style cake. But ours is kicked up a notch made with a cream cheese filling and strudel topping!

🍌 Ripe bananas — add sweetness and moisture
🍍 Crushed pineapple — gives it a fruity, slightly tangy flavor

🌰 Pecans — add crunch and a buttery nuttiness

🧁 Warm spices — typically cinnamon, sometimes with a little nutmeg

🥚 Eggs and oil — create a very moist, tender crumb

🧀 Cream cheese fillting — rich, tangy, and the perfect contrast to the sweet cake
