We’re getting together for a laid back evening of w**e, cheese & good company on October 13th.

Double, double, cheese & trouble. 🧙‍♀️🧀

The witches are out this week! 👻 Meet our Cheeses of the Week: Red Witch & Old Witch, two Swiss raw cow’s milk cheeses from the same family.

Red Witch is a smooth Alpine style cheese with a nutty, savory flavor and a paprika rubbed rind. Fun fact: it was originally created for Carnevale, a Swiss pre-Lent festival full of costumes, masks & general chaos.

And then there’s Old Witch, her older, more mature sister. It starts out as the same cheese as Red Witch, but the wheels with the most aging potential get a few extra months in the cellar. The result? An even creamier, nuttier cheese with a little more depth.

Come get a taste of the witches while they’re here! 🎃👻

He took home first place for his mozzarella braid at the Comal County Fair!
