It’s the new season all that was made to live right next to your salt and pepper. It’s the , and once you try it, I have a feeling you’ll be reaching for it first.

I created this because I wanted one seasoning that made everything taste better without having to think about it. Sprinkle it on eggs, avocado, popcorn, fries, pizza, pasta, corn, fresh fruit, veggies, chicken, steak, seafood, burgers, wings, tacos, or even around the rim of your favorite beer, Bloody Mary, or Michelada. Honestly, if you’re eating anything, use “flavor.”.

For those of you who don’t know me, 3 is my lucky number. So when I got the call last week that we would be coming back to the very place where it all started, I honestly didn’t know how to put into words what I was feeling. I don’t want to get emotional, but here I am… all up in my feels. Life has a funny way of making a complete 360 and bringing you right back to where your story began.

Three years and three months ago, on April 14, 2023, we started our very first Taco Tuesday at The Reserve at 1863. On July 14, 2026, we’re coming back home. The truth is, this journey has been one of the biggest inner fact-finding missions of my life. I started this with zero training, zero history, and zero idea what I was getting myself into. But when life challenges us, we find out what we’re really made of. By the grace of God, the talents He gave us, and the perseverance He put in our hearts, we kept going. We learned, we grew, and we built something we are so incredibly proud of.

So here we are… back where it all began. Taco Papi Grande is honored, humbled, and beyond grateful to be your Taco Tuesday destination at The Reserve at 1863 every Tuesday night from 5–8 PM. We’re bringing back our $2 Street Taquitos with asada, al pastor, and shredded chicken tinga. Tacos, tequila, drinks, and good times. When you think Taco Tuesday, think of us. We can’t wait to see you there. ❤️🌮

Nothing makes our taco loving hearts happier than pulling up to an event and seeing our TPG peeps show up in their SWAG! 🌮❤️ It seriously makes us feel so loved, appreciated, and honored that y’all choose us to bring the flavor to your celebrations.

A local taco truck in New Braunfels is doing a lot more than just serving great food.

Tacos Papi Grande has grown into a nonprofit with a mission to support single parents in the community. After stepping in to keep the business going, Amber Gunn turned it into an all-women-run operation that now gives back in a meaningful way.

Amber, who also works full-time in real estate, originally founded a nonprofit to help single parents thrive. Today, that mission is tied directly into the taco truck, with partnerships alongside local organizations like the Crisis Center of Comal County to provide food and financial support.

What started as a small passion project has turned into a community-driven effort where every taco sold helps make a difference.
