During the holidays, a reservation isn’t about making things complicated — it’s how I know exactly how many orders I can realistically bake, package and get into your hands without sacrificing the quality you’re ordering from Fairy Dough Co. for in the first place.

Your reservation is essentially you saying, “Save me a spot in that kitchen.” ✨

You’ll reserve your holiday order with a 25% deposit, and the remaining balance isn’t due until 7 days before your pickup or delivery.

So even if you’re only planning on grabbing ONE pie this Thanksgiving, you’ll still want that reservation ticket when they open. Because once the kitchen is full… she is FULL. 😂

It’s not really about the cake.

It’s about the moment.

A human making a wish, and the people around them making sure they know that wish matters. That they matter.

I keep thinking about something my friend Allison Buquet wrote recently:

“Grief has absolutely no respect for timing. It doesn’t send a calendar invite. It just shows up.”

And in another post: “Grief doesn’t wait in line.”

That has really stuck with me.

Because if life can feel this hard and confusing for us as adults, imagine trying to make sense of it when you’re little too.

So maybe we can’t fix everything. But we can give other people moments. The kind they remember. The kind that help them feel seen, loved, celebrated and supported while they’re learning how to move through all the weird, hard, beautiful parts of life.

And maybe somewhere along the way, the young souls learn that the difference between a wish and a goal is a to-do list and some action.

Okay… this one has my whole heart. 🕯️

I’ve been doing little pieces of this quietly for a long time.

Making the cake. Saying yes when I could. Helping a family celebrate something that just felt too important to let pass by.

And somewhere along the way, I realized… this needed a name.

And maybe a way for more people to be part of it too.

I think birthday cakes have always meant a little more to me than just… cake.

I really love getting to know who I’m making something for — what they’re into right now, their favorite things, the little details that are so them.

Because there’s something really special about walking into your birthday and seeing that somebody thought about you that much.

Like, this was made for me.

I love being a tiny part of making someone feel that celebrated.

That’s really why I do this.
