The Gourmet Ice Co We are a mobile event-based shaved ice business specializing in 100% all-natural handcrafted flavors.

We've reinvented the snow cone by creating the syrup in small batches using all-natural, local, seasonal, and organic produce. We use real fresh fruit, real fresh herbs, and real sugar---we never use any artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, or sweeteners, and trust us, it’s a far cry from the artificial neon snow cones of your youth. Our revolving menu features a selection of unique artisanal flavors and classic flavors.

We've decided to take a bit of time off from The Gourmet Ice Co. My hope is that it's only for the 2018 season, but it could be longer and until we feel that the hours required of this venture are a good match with the needs of our busy family. I may even entertain serious offers to sell the company...email me at [email protected] if you'd like to chat about it!

We truly feel that there is a certain path laid and a bright future for this business, and we will follow in the direction that the signs lead us. I'll touch base on here every so often with updates and musings because well----I miss all of you!

Have you ever been to the Fall Festival at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic School? We've taken our kiddos several times and it is always a wonderful event, easily one of our favorite local fall happenings. Well guess what?!

These are my babies. That handsome dude you see is Connor and he's starting 1st grade this year, which means that he'll be moving away for college like next year. It's crazy how once they start school our lives go from revolving around each other, to revolving around school and homework; our time together as a family is much too precious these days.

This Saturday, Aug 19th will be our last weekend at the New Braunfels Farmers Market. I love LOVE this market and will miss it terribly, but our whole family is excited to have our weekends together again.

I'll still be around for catering & events and my schedule is already quite full for September & October, so if you have a shindig coming up, don't hesitate to get us booked. I've also promised you guys some pop-ups and I WILL DELIVER. My cute mobile kiosk/cart/thingie is almost done with its makeover and you can find out on this page when & where I'll set it up.

I bought this monstrosity 2+ months ago and have been sending bid requests to every tradesperson I can think of and still have not received ONE quote back from anyone. If you have any tried & true referrals for me I'd love to hear them. At this point I'm not opposed to hauling it to Austin or SA to get the job done...I just need to get it DONE so I can use it sometime this century. Here's what I need:
-Counters: I need either a sheet metal fabricator, or maybe a countertop person to quote me to replace the stainless steel counters on this thing.
-Vehicle graphics/wrap

**I've even contacted a few food truck builders to see if they can do the whole remodel for me, but again, no responses. If you know of someone who does this, hook me up with that referral, too.
