Cosmo Bella Foods, LLC Food brings people together. Let's eat! What's in a name? My husband joined the Army, and within five years our family was headed to Europe.

Cosmopolitan: including or containing people of many different countries
Bella: beautiful
My philosophy - Life's beautiful when we embrace the foods & people of different countries and cultures. When I was growing up, food was at the heart of whatever we did because my mom was (and still is) a great cook. She ran her own catering company, taught me to cook and modeled a strong work ethic and warm

hospitality. We explored Germany and most of the countries that border it and beyond. This ignited my interest in cooking and transformed it into respect and passion. It was a fantastic education on cultural cuisines, flavor profiles, and food presentation that I will always 'savor.'
I recently graduated from The Culinary Institute of America; it was an unforgettable experience for which I am truly grateful. People that know me know I love to be in the kitchen. They’ll tell you I enjoy feeding people and do a “happy dance” for the tastiest dishes; I can’t help myself! I’ve spent the first chapter of my life proudly supporting my husband through his 20-year military career and raising two children. They are my biggest fans! Join me in this new chapter. It's time to share my passion for delicious food with you, your families and friends!

For my gluten-free friends:
I’ve received questions about this week’s meal, and I’m happy to share that the meatballs will be made with gluten-free breadcrumbs. The chicken parmesan will be coated with gluten-free flour and panko, and the pasta will be gluten-free as well.
Through my culinary training, I learned the importance of handling allergens with care, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’m mindful about keeping prep items, cooking pots, strainers, utensils, and bowls separate from other food preparation whenever possible. It’s truly a labor of love and consideration for my neighbors, and I’m grateful to be able to offer this option when I can.

Hip Hip Hooray for CHEESE! Fun Food Facts: Some of my favorites were created and perfected centuries ago by monks. 7th century Munster (from the Latin for monastery) comes from Alsace, France. It's a fabulous cheese for grilled cheese sandwiches. From 12th or 13th century Italy hails the king of cheeses: Parmigiano Reggiano. It's used on pizza, pasta, salads...you name it!

What is YOUR favorite cheese? How do you enjoy it?
