If you need me, I'll be in the garden admiring these flowers! Orlaya is new to the garden this year, and I already know, I need sooo much more of it next year!

The flowers are lacey and delicate. Totally giving cottage flower garden vibes.

After the storms, I took a walk through the garden.

I was pleased to find no damage but I did find lots of new blooms just ready to burst!

This is a patch of rudbeckia, or black eye susan. I have never grown rudbeckia stems this long before. I am so impressed with their growth this year.

Do you notice the dark purple underside of these snapdragon leaves? No, they aren't stressed or sick. Snapdragons can actually show you the color of the blooms before their first buds appear by displaying that color on the underside of their leaves.

You guessed it! These blooms are going to be a beautiful purple later this summer.

I've got a little trivia for you!

🌱This flower is sweet and whimsical.
🌱When it's in full bloom it looks like a spray of daisies.
🌱As it's name suggests, this flower has been used to reduce fevers.
