We’ve been busy in the bakery!

We’re incredibly honored to announce that our cookies are being served in the suites at Day Air Ballpark for Dayton Dragons Professional Baseball Team fans to enjoy! To see a local family bakery represented at one of the Miami Valley’s most beloved traditions is something we’re truly grateful for.

The Dragons have been bringing people together for years—families, friends, coworkers, and baseball fans alike, and we’re proud that Butter + Scotch gets to be part of those memories.

Thank you to the Dayton Dragons organization and Pro Sports Catering for the opportunity, and thank you to everyone who continues to support our bakery along the way.

You never know where a cookie will take you!

Thank you for helping a small family bakery do some pretty big things.

(My grandma would be so proud. This all started in her farm kitchen many many years ago, when she taught a seven year old how to bake. 💚🤍)

A note from our farm bakery. 🤍🍪

One of my absolute favorite things is watching customers power walk straight up to our booth at the market, completely confident, on a mission, already knowing exactly what they want—which is sometimes “one of each.”

When someone says, “I was thinking about that cookie all week!” or “I had a rough day and remembered that I had a piece of my chocolate chip cookie left, and it made my night!” Someone else said, “This is what (major cookie chain name here) WISHES their cookies were like!”

Those kinds of comments stick with me more than people probably realize. The fact that you choose to spend your hard earned money to support our business means everything.

Anyone who owns a bakery business knows the long hours that go into market weekends. Sometimes it’s several days straight on our feet baking, before we ever even load up and head to market.

That’s why it means so much to see people excited while we’re describing the cookies, or when someone takes one bite and immediately comes back for another.

Our business has grown in an extraordinary way and we’re so grateful. We’re entering our busiest season and you’ll start to see us in multiple places every weekend and our cookies in more retail locations. It’s also wedding season on the farm.

Having said that, we never want to be too busy to have a visit with you, to bake for your something special (or just when you need some “cookie therapy”) and to let you know how very much we appreciate you! So truly— thank you! We appreciate every single one of you more than you know. 🤍🍪

My husband sent this to me the other morning. I was in awe of the sun, but he said, “Zoom in on Mac.”

Is he accessorizing with feathers during fashion week or have we made a new friend? Either way, we think this is pretty cute. (And the sun IS spectacular!)
