There are some people who simply see a need and quietly step into it.

Our friend is one of those people.

She gives her time and talent to families experiencing unimaginable loss through her free bereavement photography ministry, preserving moments in photographs that may become some of a family’s most treasured possessions. We understand the need for keepsakes like these, and so does she. We have also been blessed to know that same generous heart firsthand, as she also gives of herself to photograph couples through our free wedding chapel.

She shows up for people in some of life’s happiest moments and some of its hardest ones, asking nothing in return.
That kind of heart deserves to be shared.

Two beautiful weddings this week, and somehow we still catch ourselves looking at each other and thinking, “This is really happening here.”

Under old trees (with new chandeliers!) beneath the stars and inside a barn that has been given a whole new story, people are beginning their forever, here.

We’re working on a dream that began in a 12 year old’s heart many years ago. One that we believe is carved out by faith. We never wanted to be the biggest or the fanciest. We just want to create something beautiful and meaningful that people would remember.

And goodness, we love being able to share it.

Moo’s turning ONE? They both are!

We had the sweetest little cake smash visitor at the farm today, and since Woodford recently had his first birthday too, he got to celebrate as well!

Two one-year-olds, zero concern for table manners, and a “moo-tual” love of cake. 🤎

I’m not sure who enjoyed it more, but I am 100% sure this will be the cutest thing you’ll see all day, and it was all captured by Amanda Leeann Photography! We can’t wait to see the photos! This little guy was all smiles!

Summer, we sure love you, but we’re starting to hear fall calling. 🍂

Cooler evenings, candles glowing in the barn, leaves turning, something warm to sip— all of those first little signs that the coziest season of the year is almost here.

Our fall Cows + Canvas evening is coming up at Notforgotten Farm, and it might just be the perfect way to welcome it the warmth of the season. (We think so!)

Come spend an evening on the farm, slow down for a bit, paint something beautiful, enjoy some seasonal treats and cider, and of course— spend a little time with our Highland cows during their meet and greet.

No artistic talent required. Truly. Come with a friend, bring your mom or your daughter, make it a date night, or come by yourself and meet some new people.

Summer has kept all of us busy. It’s time to get back to cozy! 🍁🍂

The last few years haven’t always been easy. There were moments when we honestly weren’t sure what the future would look like. But somehow, between the flour on everything, the overnight bakes, and more butter than we probably care to admit to— you all kept showing up.

You became so much more than customers. You’ve become friends. You’ve celebrated birthdays with our cookies, trusted us with weddings and special moments, stopped by our market booth just to say hello, and reminded us over and over why we love what we do.
