Thank you so much for your votes, your support and love for our farm bakery! 🍪♥️

Well, this is an interesting turn of events. We received a message earlier this evening from the awards banquet saying that we won second place in the “Best of Springfield” contest!

This was quite a surprise, and also rather confusing, as we weren’t notified at all that we had placed in the top three. We’re in good company, because some of our favorite businesses also didn’t receive word and missed tonight’s festivities.

We’re not sure what happened there, and we’re kind of sad to have missed all of the excitement, but our little farm bakery is so very grateful to have been recognized alongside the amazing brick and mortar bakeries in the city. Being the “new kid” in this competition, and working as hard as we have, it truly means so much.

This is your moment as much as ours. We simply have the sweetest customers and supporters. You were voting diligently and encouraging us every step of the way. Thank you so very much! ♥️

Photographer Content Day✨

We love our photographers, and we know that a beautiful Christmas set is only part of the magic. It’s the talent, creativity, and individual style of each photographer that truly brings it to life.

We want your clients to see more than just a photograph of an empty set, or another photographer’s vision of it. We want them to see your work, your vision, and the beautiful images you can create in these spaces.

That’s really what this day is all about— giving our photographers an opportunity to let their own work shine while helping them get ready for a wonderful Christmas season!

We’re opening the farm on Sunday, November 1st, for a special Christmas Content Day, and we’d love to have you join us!

We’ll have our Christmas sets beautifully styled and ready for the season, along with models available for you to photograph. (All we need is you and your camera!)

This is an opportunity to explore our holiday setups, capture beautiful images for your portfolio, and create marketing content to promote your own Christmas sessions here at Notforgotten Farm.

If you’re a professional photographer who has not yet worked with us, but would like to book our Christmas sessions (more opening soon) this is a great opportunity to visit our farm, meet us and see what we’re all about!

We’ll have refreshments available, and you’ll have an opportunity to tour each set, get familiar with the farm, and spend a little time creating.

And the best part? There’s absolutely no charge to attend.

This is our way of supporting the talented photographers who help make our farm such a special place.

Every wedding is beautiful, but there’s just something magical about an autumn wedding. 🍂

With a little rain for good luck, and their closest family and friends gathered around, Taelor and Cyrus began their next chapter together here at the farm last night.

Congratulations to you both, and thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your story. We pray every good thing over your marriage and wish you a lifetime of love and happiness together!

Sarah + Dain 🌿

There was something so genuinely joyful about this day.

Sarah was absolutely beautiful, Dain could hardly contain his smile, and the people gathered around them were just as happy to be there watching these two begin their marriage.

They stood beneath our old timber arch, and let me tell you this— August has never been so perfect. We couldn’t have had better weather if we had designed it ourselves. I have to believe it was a gift, just for them.

Surrounded by family and friends, they promised their lives to one another. And maybe that is what I loved most about their wedding.

It felt like them.

Happy. Comfortable. Full of laughter and people they love. Nothing taking away from the reason everyone had gathered there in the first place.

Sarah and Dain were getting married.

We get to stand nearby for a lot of really important moments here. I never want to become so accustomed to that privilege that I forget what an extraordinary thing it is to watch two people look at one another and say, this is the person I choose.

I hope I always cry. (So far, so good.)

Sarah and Dain, thank you for allowing Notforgotten Farm to be the place where you chose forever. What a beautiful day it was.

🍂Our Last Cows + Canvas🎨

Our October 4th Cows + Canvas is less than two weeks away, and we have some seats still available!

We love this event so much, so this is a little bittersweet to share…

As our Free Chapel continues to grow and more couples find their way to us, our farm calendar is becoming increasingly devoted to weddings. Because of that, we don’t anticipate offering public paint classes again after this one.

We may still occasionally host them as private events (think bachelorette parties, girls nights, birthday celebrations and gatherings with your favorite people) but October 4th will be our final scheduled class that’s open to everyone.

So, if you’ve been saying, “I need to come to one of those someday,” this is your someday!

Come spend a cozy fall evening at the farm with us. Paint, laugh, enjoy something delicious, soak in the autumn atmosphere, and of course, spend a little time with the cows.
