It’s been a great week so far at our 2025 Customer Appreciation Days for 2025. It runs now through Saturday February 22nd. Our hours are 7:30am to 5pm.
Starting Wednesday and running through Saturday we will be serving a hot lunch daily from 11am to 1:30 pm.

If you haven’t already heard, we’ve been having some excitement around here all summer long!! Long-time employee Nathan Steele recently purchased R. E. Skillings, allowing Bob the opportunity to ease into semi-retirement (but don’t be surprised if you see him pop in from time to time.) We have some other new faces among the group as well since the recent hiring of Brooklyn Young and Cindy Steele in the office (allowing the coveted retirement for Janie) and the addition of local farmer Kendall Wray. All of us, along with our previous employees Austin Thomas and Elisabeth Norman, are excited to welcome you into our doors and serve your Agriculture Equipment needs.

Hello! My name is Elisabeth Norman. To earn my Gold Award through Girl Scouts I have to create a sustainable project in my community. For this project I have chosen to do a “hope closet” but for the Miami County fairgrounds! I chose to do this project because during my 10 years in 4-H and 13 years in showing animals, I have seen many people who need help obtaining the correct clothing to show their project. This ranges from children spilling something on their shirt last minute to families who just can’t afford all the right necessities for showing. It will be through an honor system that we have this closet. My goal is to give any exhibitor in our fairgrounds the ability to dress their best in the ring, despite their ability to buy the correct pieces to do so.

This being said, I have a list of items that you can donate!
-button up, collared shirts
-undershirts
-jeans (bootcut preferably)
-old belts
-boots (muck, leather, or loafers)
-white lab coats
-white dairy pants/shirts
-show brushes, whips, harnesses, etc.
Anything that is still of GOOD QUALITY can be donated. If you wouldn’t wear it, please don’t donate it. This is to allow kids to feel their best and look their best in the ring!

We can also use clothing racks and hangers.
