It is heartening to hear about the incredible community collaboration happening in Henry County.

Jennifer Fox and Hillary Bennett from the Henry County Community Foundation deserve huge praise for directing 7 pallets of CVS product to God's Grain Bin.

A big thanks also goes out to CVS District Manager Mike and the two anonymous managers who worked behind the scenes to make this massive donation possible. This type of generosity and teamwork makes a massive difference for local families relying on the food pantry.

It is always reassuring to see major companies and their frontline workers step up to support communities during difficult times. Walmart truck drivers like Ryan and Jerry, play a critical role in ensuring that essential supplies like clean water and food get exactly where they are needed most.

God's Grain Bin Update: Transitioning to Recovery 🌾📦 We are officially moving from emergency response to recovery mode. While the local floodwaters have receded, we know the need in our community is still very real. We are here for you! We will be open for public food distribution this Thursday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Please help us spread the word by sharing this post with neighbors, friends, and anyone who might need a helping hand right now.

Henry Township Trustee & Community Center. Location: 205 S. 21st Street (at Shopp Avenue), New Castle Hours: Open 24 hours as an emergency shelter and distribution site. Items Available: Clothing, food, and emergency shelter.

Contact Protocol: Do not call the standard office number, as staff are managing relief efforts in the field. Instead, contact the Trustee directly at 765-593-1397.

The Salvation Army Distribution: Food, hydration, and essential supplies will be distributed this Sunday. Hours: Specific operational times for Sunday are currently unconfirmed.
