October Road Farm, LLC We are a family-owned small farm in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia.

Established in 2020, we hope to offer a variety of small farm products in 2022 including raw local honey, heritage breed pork, edible mushroom varieties, and other forest products.

We were able to acquire 20 more pounds of this liquid gold yesterday. It’s a little lighter in color than the last batch, but still a very rich, full flavor. It’s amazing to see how God can direct even the smallest creatures to construct such intricate designs. Nature is awesome.

Done. Had to patch a bunch of holes on this reclaimed barn tin, but It should keep things dry(er).

We weren’t quite sure whether or not we were going to be raising pigs again this year. However, due to the overwhelmingly positive response and support from all of you, we are going to do it again! We just ordered two more pigs that we’ll pick up this spring and start the process over. Hopefully we will do it better, more efficiently, and continue to produce what people love - humanely raised, locally grown,forest-pastured, heritage-breed pork.

Honey is moving fast so let me know if you want and I can reserve you a bottle. We’ve sold about half of our Berkshire pork already so grab some now if you want to stock your freezer! Due to the recent cold snap, one of our hives didn’t survive. Fortunately for us, their winter stores are now ours! We are currently straining, labeling, and bottling. Should have 20-30lb. $15 for 1lb squeeze bottles. DM me if you would like one. These sell out fast!

Merch alert! Many of you have asked about ORF hoodies or hats. I’m about to place an order in the next day or so, but want to order some specifics for people if they want them. The hoodies are Hunter green, hats are brown/tan, beanies are Hunter green, and t-shirts are a nice poly blend vintage navy.
Hats - $25
Beanies - $15
Hoodies - $35
T-shirts - $25
T-shirts and hoodies will probably be done before Christmas. Hats and beanies most likely will be just after Christmas. DM me for what you want asap!
