On or after Monday, March 30, Parkview Drive will close on both sides of State Road 3. Crews are installing a water pipe under the road. Parkview Drive is expected to be closed for two weeks.

Access for local businesses will be maintained. Traffic traveling north or south on S.R. 3 will not be impacted. The east side of Trojan Lane will reopen before Parkview Dr. closes.

This closure is part of the ongoing S.R. 3 Reconstruction Project in New Castle. Learn more about the project at bit.ly/SR3NewCastle

Back in the 80's as I was learning to drive, drunk driving was the scourge .... leading to groups like M.A.D.D and S.A.D.D. Those have somewhat morphed into a fight against all distracted and impaired driving... cell phones, eating, kids, pets, music, etc. along with drugs and alcohol.
