Welcome to Villa Brami.

The house where founder Aaron Gatti spent his summers as a kid, where food felt uncomplicated and deeply connected, and where the first seeds of the idea that eventually became Brami began to sprout.

It’s a dream within a dream to experience this land together as a team this week.

Thank you for making the journey so special.

Edicola No. 2 is here, and in typical Italian style, fashionably late. April may have ended two weeks ago, but what’s the rush?

This month’s letter is all about sitting down and staying a while: al fresco hosting tips, an exclusive recipe from Chef Rahul Khopkar that’s perfect for spring, and more. Join Villa Brami on Substack for the full read.

Brami Presents | In-Season, No. 1

We know a thing or two about the art of lingering long after the plates have cleared. It’s the kind of moments we love to set the table for.

Brami founder Aaron Gatti opened the table with a few words about where the brand began: childhood summers in Italy, where fresh, local food and lingering at the table was the default, and slowness wasn’t a luxury. That’s the spirit Brami was built on, and the spirit chef Rahul Khopkar threaded through the meal, course after course, drawing almost entirely from what was growing around us.

By dessert, no one was in a rush.

The first of four. More to come, season by season.

With thanks to chef Rahul Khopkar, , .family.farm and the whole table for staying late.

Brami Presents | In-Season, No. 1

Thorne Family Farm has been working this land in Malibu for generations, and you feel it when you step foot on the land. We believe that eating close to the source has a way of bringing people back to each other.

Before the meal, guests mingled and gathered at a farm stand filled almost entirely with fresh produce from what was growing a few rows away, pantry goods from Brami, and recipe cards for what to make with them at home. Each guest carried their finds in a custom-embroidered tote made to remember this special evening.

The first of four. More to come, season by season.

With many thanks to .family.farm and

Brami Presents | In-Season, No. 1

There’s a version of eating most of us have forgotten, where the food on the table comes from the land you’re on, and what’s on your plate reflects the season. In-Season is built on that idea.

Last week, we gathered in Malibu for the first of four seasonal dinners: a series shaped by the farms, makers, and ingredients of how we eat through the year.

At Thorne Family Farm, a long table was set for lingering. A special thank you to , whose decades of work bringing diners to the source set the tone for everything that followed, our hosts .family.farm for the most magical, abundant setting, and to Chef Rahul Khopkar for a meal we’re still dreaming about.

The first of four. More to come, season by season.
