Black Maple Farm We are a small family farm that focuses on raising registered Tunis sheep as well as showpigs. Availability will be announced via posts to this page.

We will be offering farm to table lamb periodically and pigs to purchase for custom processing.

Come see what all the fuss is about…wipe all your preconceived notions from your mind about lamb and give Tunis a try. I promise if you like lamb you’ll love Tunis and if you decided lamb wasn’t for you because it was “gamey”, I think Tunis will change your mind. Full transparency…we started raising Tunis because of their rich history as a heritage breed with a strong connection to the birth of our country, but after we put the first lamb in the freezer we went all in. We sold our crossbred flock and expanded the Tunis. Absolutely beautiful breed, tastes delicious, and such an awesome history!

No wins for the ringer today… we squeaked out a 3rd in class. We still like her though…she’s had a good run this summer.
