We had the absolute best time last Saturday at our first Farmhouse Christmas! I promise this is now an annual event! Thank you to the entire neighborhood for helping and to everyone who braved the freezing cold and came out! It really meant the world to us to share our farm friends with you!

Wild Animals are struggling because of the drought. I saw a blue jay drinking from the cats water bowl the other morning.

Mr. 🦊 here has been stalking my chickens for several days - didn’t expect him to come on the porch!

Our sweet Pepe has left this world for greener pastures. Its been a long 12 hours but he’s at peace.

They say it takes a village to raise a child, but what you never hear is that it takes a village to raise farm animals.

We found Pepe down in the barn and hoped he’d go naturally.

Thanks to our amazing friends and neighbors, we had enough drugs to sedate him and relieve his pain, but the vet came this morning to help him along.

We’ll miss our sweet boy and his morning jaunts around the flower beds, sharing coffee, coming up on the porch and snacking on strawberries.

We only had him for 3 of his 19 years- but he was a favorite with his silly underbite and very loud vocal cords.

Rest easy sweet boy. 🐐 😞 💔

Pepe 🐐 came to us 3 years ago because he was wasting away. He was about 16 at the time! Do the math!! 👴🏻 Goats live 14-16 years!

He has a lot of s***k this morning! Heading straight for the last pretty flowers 🌺 in my garden, then climbing the porch steps to have coffee ☕️(and cat food) with me!
