Kimberlake Farm

Kimberlake Farm Our program focus is to produce traditional Fell Ponies suitable for every member of the family. We specialize in ride and drive mounts.

Welcome to KimberLake Farm! My name is Kimber Bishop and with my husband Paul we raise a small herd of 15-20 Fell Ponies on the rolling hills of the Missouri River Valley. Our farm is located in central Missouri about three miles north of the Missouri River at Boonville. We started importing Fell Ponies from England in 2004. We chose the Fell Pony for its temperament, beauty, and compact size. We

find the ponies are perfect for every member of the family and don't have to worry about anyone out growing their pony. Visitors are welcome to the farm just give me a call and we will set up a time. Thanks for visiting our website!

🐴 Birth Announcement 🐴
It's a Boy!

We are delighted to welcome a healthy Fell Pony c**t to Kimberlake Farm!

On Monday, May 25, 2026, Kimberlake Misty Gloria and Laurelhighland Model welcomed this handsome young fellow into the world. Interestingly, we've had a foal born on May 25th in previous years as well, so this little guy claimed the honor once again for our farm.

We've named him Kimberlake Ozark Mist, or simply "Oz" for short. His coloring appears to be very much of his dam, Misty, and he should grey.

I think he's seen more rain in his first few days than many foals see in a month! Between the spring storms and flash flooding, he's quickly learning that Fell Ponies are built for all kinds of weather. Thankfully, neither he nor his mother seem to mind the mud one bit.

Please join us in welcoming Oz to the world! ❤️

✨ Birth Announcement ✨
A beautiful Caspian filly was born Sunday morning, May 17, 2026!

Sired by JPH Mr. Fancy Pants and out of Sassafras Leliah, both DNA parent verified.

Her smoky bay coloring and delicate face already remind me so much of her paternal great-granddam, Shahin Cassis. We are excited to watch this little filly grow and continue the legacy of the Caspian horse.

If you are interested in adding Caspians to your herd, we do have a limited number available. Please feel free to contact us for more information.

This week brought a special reminder of why good breeding connections matter.

A lovely Fell Pony c**t was born in Millersburg, OH today. This foal is out of Redwillow Sapphire, a mare we sold last year at the Mt. Hope, OH Spring Fell Pony Sale. Sapphire was bred to our stallion, Laurelhighland Model, and it is exciting to see the next generation arrive. This new life is such a rewarding reminder that these sales do more than bring buyers and sellers together, they create lasting connections that help build the future of the breed.
Moments like this highlight how important making connections can be not only for matching wonderful ponies with new owners, but for helping connect breeders, bloodlines, and future breeding plans that continue to move the breed forward in North America.

At Kimberlake Farm Fell Ponies, we are humbled to play a part in those connections. Every pony placed, every breeding considered, and every foal born helps strengthen the future of the Fell Pony. This precious new foal is a perfect example of how one sale can become part of something much bigger supporting breeders, encouraging new owners, and building the next generation of quality Fell Ponies.

Congratulations to Redwillow Sapphire and her owners on this special new arrival.
