These two red fullblood bull calves were born less than a week apart and are attached at the hip!

A tough week ahead for farmers and ranchers across the country! Despite our cattle’s ability to weather the cold, this arctic blast poses significant challenges for livestock.
We’re expecting a few calves soon which is about perfect timing for a storm…
We’ve been working hard to make sure they have plenty of food, water and shelter.

Despite being a little off schedule, a new addition was added to the herd yesterday. Danish delivered a healthy fullblood bull calf around mid-afternoon.

Managing a smaller herd has its advantages, including getting to know the individual characteristics of each animal. Our yearling full blood American Aberdeen heifer, Honey, has a serious treat problem!
Fortunately, this treat fixation makes her easy to work through the chute.
Ya can’t beat the easy going nature of American Aberdeen cattle!
