We wrapped up our 2026 competition season at the MD State BBQ Bash in Bel Air with two calls and a couple of firsts for GigaBite BBQ!

🐖 1st place Pork - with a perfect 180!
🍖 3rd place Ribs

That pork turn-in earned us our first-ever 180 and our first win in a KCBS Masters category. We’ve put a lot of work into our cooks this season over the 7 Masters cooks (11th total) we did, and hearing our name called for first place was a pretty special way to finish it.

Congratulations to Old Virginia Smoke on their GC and Oink n' Doink BBQ Team for their hometown RGC!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, cheered us on, and supported us throughout the season. Already looking forward to an even more successful 2027 season!

One last competition to close out 2026!

We’re heading to the Maryland State BBQ Bash in downtown Bel Air this weekend, October 9–10, and we’d love to see some familiar faces cheering us on!

We were all set up at the Keystone Classic Barbeque State Championship in Harrisburg for the weekend, but after we headed home for the night, a sudden burst of wind came through and destroyed our tent.

A huge thank you to our neighbors ( Greg Boggs ) who jumped into action to help minimize the damage while we were away. We really appreciate you looking out for us and our setup. We’re grateful for the people we get to share these BBQ weekends with!

The rain sent us packing, but we still have BBQ available by the pound!

🚨Change of plans for today! 🚨

With inclement weather expected this evening, we’re moving things up and serving lunch at the New Freedom Green.

We’ll start serving around 10:30–11:00 AM and stay until 1:00 PM or until the rain begins—whichever comes first. Stop by and grab some BBQ before the weather rolls in!
