Tomorrow, 7/26/26, is Maine OPEN FARM DAY! Visit us anytime 10am till 3pm
Tour the barnyard, visit with the animals and feed them a favorite snack! Learn about our small-scale homestead and get a peek into farm life. Kids activities in the play area will include games & coloring! It's going to be a blast. To start off the morning at 10am, we will be in the barnyard for goat kid snuggles, don't miss it! Two goat hikes will be offered at 11am & 2pm ($5 per family)
We will have a tasting table at noon with our goat dairy products and samples 🧀The farmstand will be open for purchasing goods as well!
We look forward to welcoming visitors to the farm for a fun, family-friendly day celebrating Maine farms and the people behind them.

A glimpse into the last few weeks here on the farm 🌞 a menagerie of bread making, fresh Chévre on everything possible, jellies & preserves galore and more coming! Goat walks, adventures, planning & building 🙌🏻
Lovely miss Aurora is due to pop with kid(s) any day now and not long behind her Madam Aqua is due the second week of June! The two of them will be a wrap to our kiddings of the year 🤗 You know that means all the planning for next year's breeding pairs is underway!

Join us at Sixth Street Congressional for the first market of the season! We're here till 2pm or sell out!

Saturday is the DAY! Our first Makers, Bakers & Farmers Market. We are so excited to bring you some exceptional vendors.

We will be starting the day with coffee and Thompson's Orchard donuts from New Gloucester.

Hot and Iced coffee and tea will be available all day with flavored syrups to make it 'just right'.

Lunchtime will feature simple concession fare of hot dogs, grilled cheese (regular and gluten-free breads), and nachos with cheese and salsa.

Fresh hot popcorn will tempt you the moment you walk in.

What's for dessert, you ask? You will have to see our vendors for that--we couldn't possibly compete with them!

What a productive and fun busy family weekend! Saturday we had enjoyed a great playdate with some new friends and then after I made a batch of mozzarella & a batch of ricotta to bring over and make lasagna for my (Riss's) father-in-law's birthday!
What an absolute treasure to make the meal from mostly our products! (Y'all I used packaged noodles. This lady only has so much capacity and time 😂) I was so overjoyed that everybody asked for seconds, we all ate so much 🙌🏻
Sunday was a hearty farm work day, we picked up a load of hay and while getting situated to load it into the hay room - we let the herd out to the front yard to graze and browse. Well sassy miss Gingersnap decided that instead of grazing on natural snacks she was going to jump onto the table stand at the gate & open up NOT ONLY my container of triscuit crackers, she decided she was also going to pop open my lemon dill hummus that I just opened the night before 👀😂 Needless to say, I ran and grabbed the package from her and then belly laughed till we couldn't breath because her lips and nose we're covered in the evidence 🤣 Cheers to farmlife - the good, the hard and always the silly!!

Milk lips and silliness 🍼 These two buck brothers are adorable. They have solid confirmation and I like how their briskets are looking. They seek out attention and have lovely personalities, it won't be long now till they are seeking 🏡's. I can't believe they are 7 weeks old now!

The doe's love knows no bounds, they're always excited to participate in the silly games and fun we indulge in! Granted the animal cracker treats give a lot of motivation 😄
The zoomies post treat/photo session were top notch foolery, even Queen Lorna was jumping and kickin around 😆
