Retired Ricky woke up early today. Now, anyone who knows Ricky knows that if he's up before sunrise, it's usually because a fish made poor life choices.

But not today.

Instead of heading to the lake, Ricky marched down to the Paterson Farmers Market to see what was fresh. That's when he spotted him—the legendary sourdough bread guy.

Lo and behold, there he was, standing behind a table piled high with fresh-baked loaves. The smell was so good that Ricky forgot all about fishing. In fact, a trout could've jumped into his boat and handed him a winning lottery ticket, and Ricky still would've been staring at that bread.

With the urgency of a man witnessing a once-in-a-lifetime event, Ricky started waving his arms and shouting, "Hurry up and get down here before it's all gone! These loaves are disappearing fast!"

The scent of fresh sourdough drifted through the market like a tractor beam, pulling people in from three parking lots away. By the time Ricky got his loaf, he was hugging it like a newborn grandchild and guarding it from seagulls, squirrels, and anyone who looked even remotely hungry.

Fishing can wait. Today, Ricky caught the biggest thing in Paterson—a fresh loaf of sourdough.

Retired Ricky was out and about today, proving once again that retirement is just a full-time job without the meetings. He went fishing with his sister and nephew and managed to catch his very first golden trout. Some people spend years chasing gold—Ricky found his in a stream!
Since he was already making the rounds, Ricky stopped by R&R Farm. They told him they'll be at the Paterson Farmers Market in New Jersey tomorrow, bringing fresh garlic, radishes, spinach, and plenty more. Judging by the photos, they didn't just bring produce—they brought half the garden.
Not done yet, Ricky also stopped by Ricky's Farm Inc. They'll be at the market tomorrow as well with radishes, garlic, spinach, asparagus, and more fresh goodies. Between the fishing trip and the farm visits, Ricky somehow managed to bring home a trout and a grocery list.

Retired ricky was out at Ricky farms and heard they're going to be at the patterson farmers market in new jersey.Tomorrow saturday April 18th. They are gonna be there with fresh picked spinach, parsley, green garlic, green onions and beautiful asparagus. They will also have wintered (last season)over potatoes and onions. The potatoes are good for planting and eating. And a large collection of flower and vegetable plants.

There will be a new vendor this year.Selling fresh mushrooms.The farm name is Shinto Shrooms. They are located on Gibson road.In Goshen, new york, close to the farm. They will be there saturday with some fresh mushrooms.

Retired Ricky went over to Ricky's Farm today. They have beautiful hanging baskets. It's a great gift to bring to easter dinner that will last all summer.
