Burdick Road Orchard Welcome to Burdick Road Orchard! We are a family-size orchard on Town Hill Road (Rte. 219) in New Hartford (in the Litchfield Hills of northwest CT).

We grow 25 varieties of apples. Some are heritage, nearly a century old, and some are new. Recently we have added blueberries and some baby pear trees. The orchard stand is open 7 days a week, 8:30 am to dusk, from August 15 through December 15 (weather permitting if the snow fles!). You can purchase apples, cider, our delicious fruit pies, honey, jams and preserves at the stand next to our house.

We also offer home-grown veggies, herbs and mums in season, and handcrafts. We are the only orchard in the area where you can pick "drops" under our beautiful old trees. Owners Donna Howard and Marty Post hope to see you soon!
