We offer our own craft beer and hard seltzer, local cider, wine, cocktails & more. Brewery Legitimus is a craft brewery located in beautiful New Hartford, CT across from the Farmington River and just minutes from Ski Sundown. We brew high quality, innovative and traditional Belgian and American style ales and a few lagers here and there. Our large tap room provides enough space to spread out with friends while still maintaining a warm and comfy feel. We also have a huge patio with tons of seating options. Bring your own food or check out our website or social media for updates on food trucks and special events. We are cool with kids, most of the time (we have 3), but after 7pm and on evenings when there is a band playing we're 21+ only. Dogs, feel free to bring your responsible owners and hang out on the patio. Brewery Legitimus is owned and operated by a dynamic husband / wife duo with a passion for great craft beer and talking to people who love beer. Supported by a friendly and attentive staff of knowledgeable beertenders, Brewery Legitimus is a destination for craft beer enthusiasts, newbies and anyone in between.

Let’s take a moment to raise a glass to the big guy himself! 🍻🎉 It’s Chris’s birthday today!

None of this would be possible without him, so today we’re celebrating the guy behind it all. Happy birthday, Chris! We hope your day is filled with good b**r, good people, and plenty of reasons to raise a glass. 🍺🎉

Rainy days are worth celebrating. 🌧️

Bring a board game or some food from home, settle in under our covered front seating, and watch the rain do its thing. Or stay inside where it’s cozier, catch up with friends, and enjoy a pint. Our food truck today is La Cocina Cubana.

The taproom smells especially good today because we’re brewing Church Pool.

Come relax, catch up, and let the rain set the pace. 🍻
