Beautiful fall days make for a healthy and happy cria. She is almost 24 pounds. She has had her first shot. She did so well with it. The name that is under consideration is Lily.

Cold and rainy. Steele wanted to be outside, but we put her and the baby in. Poor baby needed to be dried off and her coat was dried as well. They are back out, dry, and much happier now.

The new cria is growing by leaps and bounds. As of the weigh-in yesterday, she was 19.4 pounds. I know she is looking forward to her first shot this weekend.

The cria is enjoying the beautiful weather and getting to know the rest of the herd. Everyone is healthy and happy.

The vet was out today and gave the new cria a clean bill of health. Mom and cria are bonding well and had some nice time outside of the barn today before the rain started. Thanks to Jack and Anita for stopping by and letting us know everything was good with the new cria.

We are awaiting the first cria to be born on our ranch. Mother, Steele, is currently two days past her due date. She is showing some signs of being close. We are anxious for the new arrival
