We’ll be back at the YLNI Farmers Market tomorrow! I’ll have a mountain of radishes as well as asparagus, salad turnips, lettuce, arugula, spinach, mint, chives, chive blossoms, and oregano. I’ll also have honey, plant starts, flowers, and various arts and crafts. See you tomorrow!

It’s Kentucky Derby time! Stock up on fresh mint for your mint juleps at the YLNI Farmers Market tomorrow! I got to go to the Derby last year for the first time. Check out the hat I made and the great view we had from our seats. Come see us for the opening day of the outdoor season 9 AM to 1 PM at 302 E. Berry St.

Good news, the outdoor market begins this week! I can’t be there every Saturday so here are all of my dates for this season. I don’t have much ready in the garden yet but I will have some fresh produce, honey, plant starts, dried heirloom beans, dried elderberries, art, and jewelry. As always the summer market is 9 AM to 1 PM and located at 302 E Berry St. I believe I’ll be in my usual spot in the courtyard alongside Wayne St. See you guys on Saturday!

Our first market is a little over two weeks away! Hopefully my little asparagus patch keeps going and provides enough for me bring some bunches to the market. They’re so juicy and delicious when they’re freshly picked.

The tedious task of transplanting onions has begun! We took our kids to Disney World for spring break and I couldn’t believe how much changed up here in just a week. I have a lot of work ahead of me to catch up with the weeds that decided to sprout while I was gone.

I’m late to the trend, but this is who you’re asking to grow your food. As you can see I’ve had my hands in the dirt for a long time. Between house renovations, planning our kids’ first Disney trip, and everyday life I’ve been getting the garden started. The weather is warming up and I’m getting excited for another outdoor market season!

Our 2025 market season has officially come to an end. Thank you so much for another year of your support! As always it flies by way too fast, but after a short break I’ll be hard at work prepping for next year! Please continue to support the other vendors at the YLNI Farmers Market. They’ll be at Barr street through October and then the indoor market season will begin.
