New Home FFA

New Home FFA Located just south of Lubbock, the New Home FFA Chapter is very active not only in leadership and judging contests but also in the show ring as well.

Members of the FFA can be seen across the state showing Cattle, Sheep, Goats, and Hogs.

✨ New Home FFA is excited to Introduce Our New Show Rabbit Program! ✨

We are excited to offer students a brand-new opportunity to get involved in livestock projects through our Show Rabbit Program for the 2026–2027 school year!

Participants will have the chance to exhibit their rabbits at our local stock show and travel with the New Home FFA chapter to compete at the San Angelo Stock Show in the spring.

If you are interested in participating or would like more information, please contact Mrs. Howerton asap!!

We are looking forward to launching this new program and can't wait to see our members succeed. Join us and be part of an exciting new chapter for New Home FFA!

We have had several of you interested in getting your raffle tickets so you can start selling them now. If you’d like yours now, let us know below and we will get them ready! Each participant will need to sell 20 tickets. Also, The two kids that sell the most raffle tickets will each get $250 cash! 🤗🤗 See you all on June 14th!!

Thank you to everyone who made the banquet possible tonight and for coming out to celebrate all of our students successes over the last year! Today New Home FFA wrapped up our year at the Area 2 Convention! We are so proud of all of their success this year!

Kaden McDonald wrapped up his year of service as an Area 2 vice president. Kaden also ran for the opportunity to serve the state as a State Officer and we are so proud of him and all he has accomplished!

Mason Scott ran for Area 2 Officer and we are proud to announce that he will spend the next year serving and representing Area 2 as your 26/27 AREA PRESIDENT!

Makinlee Brookshire served in the courtesy corps as the Mesa District President and did a phenomenal job!

Members picked up numerous awards and accolades for the year for their involvement in CDEs and LDEs. New Home FFA also came home as this years CDE SWEEPSTAKES WINNERS!

Students also competed with their SAEs in Star and Proficiency categories and have advanced to the State Level:

Rayna Epley was recognized as the recipient of the John Justin “Standard of the West” Award and will advance to the State level
