I’ll be set up at Marvin’s farmer’s market today with chicks and fresh eggs. 8-1ish. Marvin’s is also having a customer appreciation sale with 15% off and free lunch.

The incubator is popping! Right now I have plenty of bantam Americana, speckled sussex, Wyandotte, Cochin, a few barn yard mix from blue eggs, and some zombie and Ayem Cemani. I have an abundance of eggs so I have hatching eggs of all those too. I got a few turkey eggs in the incubator, and one has hatched so far and looks like a Black Spanish. The guineas have slowly started laying and I only have about 5 of them so far. There’s also about 7 White Chinese goose eggs in there too.

FINALLY got a pair of breeding silver laced Wyandottes! Hope to get lots of beautiful chicks off them.

Just passed my NPIP/AI certification for the year. Chicks are hatching good! This Saturday is the grand opening of Marvin’s Farmer Market for the year. Marvin’s on Alabama St in East Columbus and we’ll be there from at least 8-1.

My incubators are super full. I have extra hatching eggs of Wyandotte, speckled Sussex, bantam Americana, Cochin, Easter eggers, and zombie/Ayem Cemani. They’re in there together but the zombies come from white eggs and the AC come from tan eggs.
