Gregory started making preserves with neighbors when he was eight years old. Spiced Peach was his first endeavor, using neighbors Annette and Herman’s recipe. He gave these first jars to friends and family for Christmas and holidays. His passion for artisanal home made products and home style presentation took him from this simple beginning to the opening of his own catering business in Philadelph

Philadelphia Magazine named Gregory’s Chocolate Chip Cookie the Best of Philly. He was again named by Philadelphia Magazine, the Best of Philly in August 2013, for his preserves. Most recently, in November 2013, he was named Best Artisanal Spread by Cooking Light magazine. His gourmet food stores in Frenchtown, New Jersey and New Hope, Pennsylvania were known for his signature gift baskets and gift boxes. Good Morning Facebook Family and Friends,

Gregory Benjamin Preserves, Marmalade and Conserves will only be taking orders by phone during the duration of the Holiday Season. Inasmuch as I have had great difficulty in obtaining jars I will not be producing every flavor in all sizes, some flavors will NOT be produced at all because of the difficulty and cost in obtaining fruit; all the result of the breakdown in the supply chain due to the COVID-19 virus.

I have just received 1560 jars, some of which are already sold in corporate orders, and is the total number of jars that I received for the 2021 calendar year, I normally produce upwards of 40,000 jars each year. It will be a difficult production season to say the least.

May I suggest that you take advantage of our gift certificate offers which will give your recipents the opprtunity to select their own favorite flavors while at the same time you get to SAVE!
