We are making more than syrup here at Mad Moose Maple! Last year through our Merch With Mission sales, we were able to donate $2,500!! This covers the majority of the costs to rebuild a home for one of the families that lost everything in a devastating flood. In a rural village nearby Skardu, women sift through mountains of mud and rubble in search of belongings that were buried in a massive landslide. Days of heavy rains caused landslides that completely destroyed 36 homes and many crops and livestock. Another 21 homes were badly damaged and Shining Light is carefully assessing how to continue to support these communities through food and possibly shelter as Winter approaches.
