Today is the day we’ve been anticipating for weeks. Old Homestead Farm is officially on the market.
And even though we knew this day was coming, seeing those words still feels incredibly bittersweet.
For the last 10 years, we have poured our blood, sweat, tears, prayers, and hearts into this little piece of land. We came here with big dreams and somehow, along the way, it became more than we ever could have imagined.
We built fences and barns. We raised babies and cattle. We planted gardens, baled hay, welcomed new life, weathered hard seasons, celebrated beautiful ones, and watched our little girls grow up with dirt on their boots and the whole farm as their backyard.
We opened our gates and watched this place become part of other people’s stories, too. There have been weddings and dinners, dancing under the tent, campfires, field trips , celebrations, and so many nights standing on that hill thinking, How lucky are we to call this home?
There is so much of us here.
But the truth is, Old Homestead Farm was never built by just us.
To our family and friends who believed in our crazy ideas, showed up when we needed an extra set of hands, cheered us on, and loved us through every high and low—thank you.
To the employees who worked beside us, cared for this place like it was their own, and became part of the OHF family—thank you.
To our fellow farmers who shared knowledge, lent equipment, answered questions, offered encouragement, and understood this life in a way only another farmer can—thank you.
And to every customer who bought our beef, eggs, vegetables, hay, or anything else we dreamed up along the way; every person who attended an event, celebrated a milestone here, brought their children to the farm, shared our posts, told a friend about us, or simply stopped by to say hello—thank you for supporting this little dream of ours.
And to all the people who crossed our path somewhere along the way and became part of this story, whether for a season or for all ten years—we hope you know how much you have meant to us.
You helped make Old Homestead Farm what it is. We could never have done this alone.
And maybe that’s what makes knowing when to let go so hard.
But somewhere along the way, we realized that the life we worked so hard to build was also asking more and more of the time we wanted to spend actually living it. Our girls are growing quickly. These years are precious. And lately, our hearts have been pulling us toward something simpler—less to maintain, fewer things demanding our attention, and more time for the people who matter most.
So, we’re listening.
We don’t know exactly where the road leads from here. But if the last ten years have taught us anything, it’s that God has always been faithful in every season—even when the next step wasn’t clear.
Old Homestead Farm has been one of the greatest blessings of our lives. We will forever be grateful for the life we built here, the people who became part of it, and every beautiful, messy, exhausting, unforgettable memory made along the way.
Now we’re trusting God with what comes next.
To everything there is a season.
And today, a new one begins. 🤍
