Short version “kitchen closed, bar open”

The heat has officially won. We lost the walk in cooler yesterday and now our main cooler in the kitchen is trying so hard but can’t keep up.

Food safety and guest experience is paramount so we decided to close the kitchen today but…..the ice machine is doing fine and our bartenders are staying to serve them if you like cold drinks on hot days.

We apologize to any guests that pop in without seeing this message or those who have reservations that we haven’t been able to get a hold of yet. Enjoy the 4th of July while we lick our wounds. See you Sunday for brunch.

Amanda’s last 3 shifts, today, tomorrow & Friday. She has been with us from (almost) the very start and she has put her heart & soul into our businesses(SoCal & NPH too) in various roles. She has pivoted, made it work, not gotten the answer she wanted and she has always come back. botL wouldn’t be what it is without her. But….her life is moving forward and we couldn’t be happier to see her grow. Let’s wish Amanda & Derrick and their growing family many years of happiness. Come in during the day this week to say hi, bye but either way to bug her a little more while she’s bartending. I’m going to.

Amanda, we love you and miss you already.
