A big thank you to Conner Eckler for helping at the farm this summer. Conner is headed to Mizzou next week for his freshmen year.

Conner was always on time and jumped in to do what needed to be done and let’s face it summer helpers don’t get the best tasks on the farm. Conner has a great sense of humor and is a good sport. I enjoyed having him here this summer. It was Good Good some might say. 😁😁

Crazy looking sky late this afternoon. We have had right at 13 inches of rain over the last 12 days. Thankful the dry weather was broken. Ready for more sunshine as we celebrate the 4th of July.

Had a little help spraying soybeans today.

We have been busy this winter hauling grain. Corn to ADM in St.Louis. It is loaded on a barge to be loaded on a ship at the Gulf of Mexico and seed beans to Marshall MO. Maci and Ellie say Pappy is tired of truck driving.

As Thanksgiving nears we would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

We were blessed with a safe and good harvest. We are grateful for the help it took to make it successful.

A special thanks to Andy Woollen, Corn Cob - Gary Dicks, Billy Johnson, Jim Bramblett, Shawn Couch, Josh and good old dad. Also a HUGE thank you to the spouses for understanding the “grind” of harvest and fall work.
