It was hard to settle on a name, but because of her ear muffs we thought she looked like Minnie Mouse. So, we decided on the name: Mouse!
Mouse is without her ear muffs and coat! Her and Sarah are back with the rest of the herd!

Our little heifer calf is doing great! Born during the coldest weather we’ve had, we decided to help out and use a blow dryer to get her dry. Then, a great farmer friend lended us a calf jacket and some ear muffs for her to wear for the next few days! She’s checking all the boxes and doing everything a fair weather born calf does! She’s a tough one!

Sarah is in the maternity pen! As excited as we are about the approaching calving season, we hope she keeps her calf a little longer to avoid any frost bitten extremities in this cold snap!

These boys are growing nicely! It’s crazy how “bucky” they are at just 5 weeks old! They would make great herd sires or make great pets as wethers! They are the perfect addition to a hobby farm or a great way to get kids involved in 4H!
