We recently welcomed some adorable baby geese to the farm. They are now 3 days old and doing well. Mama Goose was sitting on 12 eggs, but only 4 hatched. Even so, we are thankful for our new little additions to the farm family!

Students from Alabama A&M University, American Society of Civil Engineers dedicated several hours advancing their project through hands-on fieldwork and research. The team carefully conducted site measurements, performed detailed calculations, and analyzed key environmental factors. To strengthen their design and planning process, they also researched the average annual rainfall for the New Market area, ensuring their work was both accurate and environmentally informed. Their time on-site reflected a strong commitment to applying classroom knowledge to real-world engineering challenges.

What’s going on at Hampton Farms? I’m glad you finally asked!

Students from the Alabama A&M Honors Program came out to complete their mandatory volunteer hours.
Their majors ranged from Civil and Mechanical Engineering, Animal Bio Science, Biology, Accounting, Computer Science, Urban Planning, Communication Media, and Chemistry. It was inspiring to see these bright minds come together, learn, serve, and experience the beauty of the farm.
